It's been quite a while since our last post
... and so much has happened! THE LORD
HAS DONE NEW AND BEAUTIFUL THINGS. We
witnessed great works of the Lord. Let
me tell you about it in turn. During the
Paschal Vigil, Oksana gave a confession of faith of the Catholic Church and
thus was incorporated into the parish community. Now the time has come for preparation for the
Sacraments of Penance and the Eucharist.
God’s arms are opened wide for her!
On Resurrection Sunday, Dina and Stanislaw
have invited Jesus into their lives through the Sacrament of Marriage. And although there were no white dresses,
refined decorations, musicians ... it was a great joy not only for the newlyweds,
but for the whole parish. Everyone was
deeply moved while participating in the ceremony of the nuptials. Tears also flowed down our cheeks. It was so modest, so simple that ... we felt
the glow of love!
Not so long ago—just two Sundays ago—Dina
and Stanislaw brought their daughter Anastasia to be baptized. This is the first baptism of the little child
in our parish! Wanda Janowna—one of our
babushkas—said that now she can pass away because she had seen a baptism of a
little child. Together with the other of
our babushkas – Agnesa, she participated in the baptism of Anastasia. There was only one word in their hearts and
on their lips: gratitude. How strong the
faith is in the hearts of our babushkas!
And our Nastusia now is fully alive as a child of God!
