+ THE LORD IS NEAR

Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near (Is 55:6)

  


If you long for somebody, you keep waiting; if you keep waiting, you keep watching.  Advent is the season when longing for our Lord somehow touches our hearts more deeply.  The Scripture readings given for this period of time are filled with longing, joy and hope.  They also invite us to seek the Lord.  The promise found in the Book of Jeremiah is wonderful: When you look for me, you will find me, for you will seek me with all your heart (Jer 29:13)The Lord God is truly near, if only we look around more carefully.  May you enjoy a Blessed Advent Season!

and First Holy Communion this Christmas

For little Daniel, who will be baptized on Holy Family Sunday

For Żenia, who bravely prepares for sacraments;
there is still some way ahead of him to achieve the goal.
